Designations
The Association of Certified Forensic Investigators of Canada (ACFI) members are professional fraud investigators who have by experience, education and examination satisfied the requirements of the Association of Certified Forensic Investigators of Canada (ACFI) and have been admitted as regular members of the Association. They are valued for their integrity and expertise.
The Association of Certified Forensic Investigators of Canada (ACFI) has two main types of ACFI qualification:
CFI (Certified Forensic Investigator)
CFT (Certified Forensic Technician)
The ACFI welcomes the affiliation of individuals that have an interest in the prevention, detection, investigation and mitigation of fraud and fraud-related activities. Affiliation is also the first stage to membership as a Certified Forensic Investigator.
The Association enables the members and affiliates, through training and networking with a wide variety of the lawyers, accountants, investigators and law enforcement officers, the ability to stay current in the best practices in the evolving field of forensic investigation.
